...to a better hideout.
heh.
So I can dwell in that place and write angsty, long-winded passages and ranting about anything without certain people reading it.
Cos life has been a biatch this year.
Feel free to tag or leave a comment.
I'll give ya the new add. =)

One Republic - Apologize
Just came back from the farewell outing.
Had loads of fun and stayed off the water games cos my ankle's busted temporarily... again. =(
Anyway, on to my not the latest discovery.
The band from City of Angels, California, United States - ONE REPUBLIC!!!
Personally I prefer this version over timbaland's remix, but oh well. Take your pick.
This video was made by Aaron Platt for a contest. Not the official one. But a favourite!
The remix
Visit http://www.myspace.com/onerepublic for more of the band's works.

a new environment
I've started taking Chemistry lessons from a Mr Chin now, so I can't attend myf(sigh). Had to keep Saturday off for many, many important events. I liked my previous teacher, Mr Hee, whom I joined his class last year, but his classes were on a Saturday afternoon.
Mr Chin's method of teaching reminded me a great deal of Mr Chee's (of Wijaya) sarcasm.
On my first day:
Him: You girl!
You're new here?
Pick up your pen and start writing now!
I'm not talking to the wall lah. I'm talking to her - and he looks at me(when the students looked around).
Embarrassed, I started writing while he dictates.
Him: You'll see that more people will be joining my class later when they start doing badly in their exams.
In the middle of describing aluminium properties....
He wrote "non-odourable" on the board. Means no smell, he says.
(Clearly it shows he has aged.)
On the second day, he corrected himself.
"I was cracking my head for the word - odourless. Haihya. Correct your notes."
When he noticed a number of the students didn't complete the objective questions, he'll go
"You people are lazy. If you follow my advice, go home and study, do your homework and come to my class with full attendance, u'll get your A."
"You are so stupid. I told you aluminium can't be extracted by chemicals. At that time they haven't discovered electricity yet!!" (all hail Alessandro Volta for his batteries).
"Only know how to wait for answers."
And he goes on and on about it.
"Don't be like this certain boy who was in my class last time."
The scenario:
Him: I told you to use your head.
Boy: I'm using my brain.
Him: You have to use your head because you don't have a brain! (while suppressing a triumphant smile)
Never argue with a teacher, he says.
The big reminder from him: 6 more months to STPM.
I've concluded that he's good, albeit irritable and a cynical, serious man.

much ado about nothing
Mrs. Y: Pls don't let your soul leave your body during the exams/after recess.
LOL.
Yesterday Bro. Matt told me I got credited for taking pictures in the Rotary Debate Finals in Mr. Peter Khiew's blog!!

Prefects Football Match '07
Football Match was on the 20th of January, at DR Park.
A number returned home, accompanied with sprains, muscle pulls and fractures edit:icky, muddy legs too!!.
Even I freaked out when I saw Xian's bloodied mouth.
Anyways, photographs were taken towards the 2nd half of the program, using Bro Matt's cekap Panasonic DMC FZ20.
And Bro Matt took over and gave me some tutorials on focusing, like this one:-
Photos stop here as battery's drained.
Yet again, DISCO won the match in the end.

Kee Cheong: That's my ball... lemme score!
Then, I took over the camera...
